Artist and designer Dominic Wilcox and his Fields installation is set to go instore at Selfridges from next week until 15th September. This is his third collaboration with Terra Plana, a reinterpretation of his successful Field installation in 2009 at the London Design Festival and at Entratalibera during the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2010 (pictured below). The installation aims to breathe life into the simple, inanimate shoe, making a connection with nature whilst referencing the lives of the absent owners. The shoe laces of over six hundred eco-friendly shoes rise up into the air as though growing towards...

One of the world's foremost running coaches, Lee Saxby, is putting on a 2 day minimalist running workshop this coming Thursday and Friday. If like me you have a love/hate relationship with running he's the man to make sure you fall back in love with it! Lee has famously helped Chris McDougall author of 'Born To Run', to run without injury and believes that we can all be trained to run pain free. The one-on-one sessions will teach you the transition to minimalist running, from correcting your posture, gait and rhythm and give you simple yet effective drills to unlock...

We all know Jeff is a keen sneaker head with a serious collection. Complex Magazine know this too. Which is why they cleverly asked the New Yorker to share his favourite 50. There are some stone cold classics in there, as well as some unexpected entries. No Nike AM1, but the important thing is that the Jordan III made it. Oh, and Terra Plana and New Balance make an appearance too! Take a look HERE. www.stapledesign.com...

Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile at Entratalibera is in full swing right now, and artist Dominic Wilcox has several works on show there. One of them is Field, an installation made from over 500 eco-friendly Terra Plana shoes and 'grass' laces that rise into the air as if reaching for the light. The installation seeks to explore issues of ecology and sustainability - which also happen to be the founding principles of Terra Plana. It's a pretty good match if you ask me. The Terra Plana shoe featured is the Pop: The Pop was chosen by Wilcox because unlike most...
