So yesterday the launch party for the geniusly conceived New Balance 576 pub pack went down at Hoxton's Red Lion pub last night. With a plethora of good people in attendance, traditional pub food (pork pies, pork scratchings, sausage rolls, peanuts, crisps), free booze and of course, a good old pub quiz, it's safe to say the event was pubtastically brilliant. Thanks to everyone who came along and making it such a success! Go get your Pub Pack New Balances! Our Canoe-made factory made a rare appearance. The New Balance boys in the house. Brace yourselves. New Balance and Offspring have collaborated once again, to bring you the Covent Garden Pack. The relationship between New Balance and Offspring is a long-standing one. It was first established in 1996, when they both teamed up to create the first Flimby store specific collaboration. Since then, this relationship has gone from strength to strength, spawning a variety of releases over the years. To launch the 2011 lifestyle collection, New Balance bring the New Balance Flimby shoebox factory! The model factory commemorates New Balance's core beliefs (fusing classic designs from the past with bold, innovative ideas from the future), and celebrates vivid, wild imagination. Us lot at Canoe were charged with the task of building the model shoebox factory from a campaign film clip. After a few tubes of glue, blunt scalpels and a plethora of papercuts (of all depths and sizes), the completed version took pride of place on the New Balance Bread & Butter Berlin show stand which took place...

Used for techincal clothing, tents and industrial fabrics, sonic welding is an environmentally friendly alternative to sewing or gluing. Thousands of runners took to the streets of London at the weekend for the Virgin London Marathon with one special person having a very unique challenge planned. Major Phil Packer walked this year's Marathon in 26 hours (last year he finished the route in 14 days), an incredible feat for someone who suffered a severe spinal injury and was paralysed whilst on duty in Basra in 2008. This year New Balance were proud to support Phil as he walked on behalf of 26 charities, changing into a new pair of NB trainers after every mile. Phil's shoes were custom-made in Flimby for each of the individual charities and carried the respective logos together with the symbol...
