Last night saw Brit electropop fivesome Fenech-Soler (pronounced Fenek-Soler, not Fenaaaysh-Solaaay as we may or may not have been calling them), make a real mess of London’s Koko. In a proper good way, thankfully. Emerging from the other end of a hectic festival season with still-crisper-and-tighter-and-whiter jeans than is humanly possible, London’s most iconic venue was treated to a tirade of tunes from the self-titled album, accumulating in silly-big glitter and paper cannons during Annie Mac-fave ‘Stop And Stare’. Word has it that 97-year-old Koko cleaning lady Ethel broke her broom over her head in anger at the sight of...

This is one for fans of art and music - the Earnest Endeavours crew bring you Two Soups and a Honeybun: an exhbition of 39 pieces of art from Justin 'Kutmah' McNulty. Until recently, McNulty resided in LA, proving to be a driving force in the evolution of the city's underground arts and music scene; his Sketchbook Sessions night in LA in 2004 - the first instrumental beats and art night in the city - paved the way for the likes of the now iconic Low End Theory and Brainfeeder. Last year, after nearly 2 months of undeserved federal incarceration...

We're feeling pretty festive in the Canoe office right now. I'm pretty sure the music we've been playing has had a hand in that - if you're feeling slightly Grinchy, just take a listen to some of these and POW - you'll be donning the Santa hat and hand crafting paper Christmas decorations in no time. Elf - Music from the Major Motion Picture Directed by Jon Favreau (who also directed Iron Man 1 & 2), Elf is the best Christmas film of all time. No two ways about it (Will Ferrell at his greatest?). And, it has one of...
