PUMA are delighted to announce their latest ambassador and face of the new JD Sports ‘My Suede’ campaign – Jamal Edwards. Jamal is one of the UK’s leading online youth broadcasters showcasing the latest UK and global music talent. He has a passion for youth culture and music, developing Jamal into a pioneer that has created a unique platform for aspiring and established artists to build their fan base and express their raw talent.
This meteoric rise has seen the entrepreneur become one of the most influential figures in the urban fashion and music industries, making him the perfect man to front the PUMA and JD Sports ‘My Suede’ project.
The PUMA Suede is an iconic silhouette whose heritage and timeless style means it speaks as loudly to Jamal and his followers today as it has to the B-Boys and Terrace Fans since it was first released in 1968. The ‘My Suede’ campaign is both a celebration of the Suede’s enduring appeal and the brave new path being trodden by the likes of Jamal and his team.
