CLOTH - Parkas

I never had one but always thought the big kids at school who paraded their sewn on badges like warriors were the epitome of cool. I’ve been a fan of the Mod culture ever since (primarily spurred on by my father’s tall tales repeated over the Sunday roasts of my youth. Tales documenting his heady younger days with descriptions of scooter types, the tailored suits from Burtons wrapped in brown paper, roadtrips, fights at the Milk Bar and various conquests to which my mother belittles and laughs at).

Anyway, nice to see this one over at Burberry then. I’m a big fan of Christopher Bailey and Burb. Loving the new twists and shake-up the brand is going through and this Parka style coat is a welcomed treat for a modern Brit. Just right for this un-predictable UK summer weather.
