Eddie Izzard Custom Flimby New Balance 576.

So last summer, one of Britain’s best-loved comedians, Eddie Izzard, completed the ultimate challenge of human endurance as he completed a staggering 43 marathons in 51 days around the UK for Sport Relief. To say that’s no mean feat is a GROSS understatement. The man is a machine.

Anyway, Eddie’s grueling undertaking - both physical and emotional - was captured on film. Eddie Izzard: Marathon Man is a three-part documentary following the comedian’s epic endeavour, with part one airing last night. Fear not though, you can catch it on the marvelous BBC iPlayer. Parts two and three air in the next week or so - check your listings.
