Donate ‘A Pound For Cumbria’

We all saw the affects of the floods in Cumbria at the end of last year which left over 1500 homes and businesses devastated. The New Balance factory in Flimby is part of the area that suffered with some of their local workforce affected. As a show of solidarity a team at the New Balance HQ in Warrington are embarking on an impressive 140 mile, 5 day walk to Cockermouth.

The ‘Pound for Cumbria’ fundraising walk starts on Monday 22nd February passing through Wigan, Preston, Lancaster, Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick, finally finishing on the Friday at the home of the Cumbria Community Foundation (the charity which will receive the donation).
